Dale Hudson takes some hints from a Disney event to help kidmin leaders hold extra-special events of their own.

Disney recently hosted a family fun event to celebrate the upcoming Wreck-It Ralph movie. I noticed on their website that the event was already filled to capacity.

Wouldn’t you love for your family events to be filled to capacity? Let’s take a look at the elements Disney incorporated into their event.

They had games. Families love to play games together.

They offered a photo opportunity. Families love to have their picture taken together.

They provided free popcorn and soda. Free food … it’s always a big draw for families.

They provided a special memory gift. Families love to have a token to remember the experience they had together.

They provided a movie families could watch together. Families love to go to movies together.

They threw in some surprises. Exceed families’ expectations.
