Nick Vujicic, the evangelist who was born without arms or legs, announced the birth of his first son, Kiyoshi James Vujicic, last week. According to The Christian Post, Vujicic and his wife Kanae celebrated their first anniversary on Tuesday, just one day before the arrival of little Kiyoshi, born 8 lbs 10 oz and 21 3/4 inches long. Vujucic reported on his Facebook page that his wife was doing "excellent."
President and CEO of Life Without Limbs, Vujicic is a sought-after public speaker with an inspiring testimony and an unstoppable spirit. His biography on his website says he was born in Melbourne, Australia in 1982 to a pastor and his wife. At age 19, after obtaining a double bachelor's degree, he began a motivational speaking tour, saying God had changed his life and gave him a future and a hope: "I found the purpose of my existence, and also the purpose of my circumstance. There's a purpose for why you're in the fire." Vujicic has since traveled the world sharing his story with the world: "If God can use a man without arms and legs to be his hands and feet, then He will certainly use any willing heart!"
The Lord is at work redeeming and sanctifying a people for Himself.
